This remarkable building set in the heart of Duston village is full of character after a recent renovation to the former St Lukes Primary School. Carefully designed with modern, stimulating and welcoming classrooms for children of all ages, the nursery school also has extensive outdoor playgrounds and equipment, with an amazing Forest School and purpose built outdoor classroom.
The day care nursery offers sessions to meet all parents’ requirements (including a breakfast club from 07.30am) for children aged 12 weeks to 4 years.Children’s nutritious meals and snacks are made in-house by our nursery cook and are provided at regular times throughout the day. We are registered for the 15 & 30 hours childcare for eligible families in England as well as tax free childcare; we also accept childcare vouchers.

“Staff provide an extensive variety of activities that follow children’s interest. Children show a positive attitude towards their learning as they actively engage and join in. All ages of children enjoy exploring the large and inviting garden. Staff support the youngest children to develop their physical skills as they hold their hands as they learn to walk. Children demonstrate pride in their achievements. Older children develop their imagination as they work together to build a ‘transformer’ out of construction resources.”

“Our 3.5 year old has been attending CK Duston since he was 9 months old and he has thrived there since day one. The nursery setting and staff are a cut above the rest and really take the time to invest in the children and constantly keep their enquiring minds active and challenged. Alfie frequently comes home with a different painting or biscuit that he’s made. Alfie suffers with a dairy allergy but we have never once had any cause for concern with how they manage his allergy and I have complete confidence in their ability to cater for his needs and ensure that he is never excluded from activities because of his allergy. The environment at Duston is not only nurturing and supportive for the children but professional and friendly for us parents – a real credit to the Caring Kindergartens name.”
