Caring Kindergartens Autumn Menu
The menus below have been planned to provide approximately 70% of the average daily energy and nutrient requirements for a child aged one to four years, divided across meals and snacks provided. This leaves 20% for breakfast and 10% for an additional drink or snack at home, which is roughly equivalent to a small glass of milk and a portion of fruit.
Mid morning snack – 10% of child’s daily nutritional requirements
Lunch – 30% of child’s daily nutritional requirements
Mid afternoon snack – 10% of child’s daily nutritional requirements
Tea – 20% of child’s daily nutritional requirements
